Here at AbbVie we are looking for a Global Manager QRM to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for supporting risk management activities for pharmaceutical products, biologics and devices, to assist in strategic direction to ensure business objectives are met and complete quality assurance activities to establish, implement and sustain risk management deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure risk knowledge transfer for new product introductions from R&D to OPS
  • Interface with development and technical experts on risk assessments
  • Identify improvements and drive implementation of IT tools for QRM / knowledge management in product transfer
  • Engage in strategic and tactical decisions for QRM
  • Establish risk documents and quality system metrics
  • Support the application of risk assessments and ensure reliable and consistent output
  • Drive implementation and management of training programs for risk management
  • Support quality plans and project activities on continuous improvement
  • Achieve goals and strategic initiatives of the QRM Center of Excellence
  • The individual will interact with senior management of various functional areas and therefore requires high levels of competence, confidence, and credibility

Position will be hired at level commensurate with experience

Basic:

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering or other technical area
  • Scientific experience, Master degree / PhD desirable
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with product development, transfer and/or quality assurance. Risk Management experience preferred
  • Project management and matrix leadership skills
  • Ability to engage various stakeholders and drive projects
  • Creative and open-minded, yet able to work thoroughly and reliably
  • Quickly adapts to changing environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills a plus
  • Very good command of the English language
