Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Facility & Project Lead, are to:

  • Provide all activities of Project Management, including project evaluation, scope development, estimates, secure of funds, scheduling, progress reporting, project evaluation, and project closure;
  • Actively monitor and make recommendations to improve facility assets for buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems;
  • Provide technical assistance to JLL - on site operations and maintenance service provider;
  • Assist in the development and tracking of project plans for facility projects, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities and ensure proper coordination amongst third party providers and employees in their execution;
  • Assist in expense budgeting and capital planning to include Appropriation Request(AR) / Authorization for Expenditures(AFE) development;
  • Provide technical support for building systems to include, but not limited to, Building Management Systems (BMS), Security systems, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS systems), and Fire Protection systems;
  • Collaborate with site customers to identify further opportunities to achieve their goals and objectives by providing reasonable solutions to their facility needs;
  • Manage multiple projects (6-12) at various stages of the project life cycle;
  • Average annual spend is $1.5 to $2.0 million;
  • Work efficiently with architectural and engineering firms, contractors, and subcontractors;
  • Support technical assistance and work closely with the Data Center facilities team, including 24 hour response.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with six or more years of experience in facilities operations or ten or more years of relevant experience in facilities project management and operations;
  • Oversight of maintenance and workplace services which include utilities, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, fire detection, and general facilities infrastructure;
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, direct, lead, influence and motivate others to achieve project goals and objectives;
  • Must have experience in leading cross functional teams;
  • Demonstrated experience to find solutions to problems using creativity, technical reasoning, and behavioral reasoning;
  • Experience to design, plan, organize and implement projects and tasks within allotted timeframe according to budgeted cost and defined quality standards;
  • Demonstrated opportunities to successfully manage multiple tasks across multiple projects with time sensitive deadlines and budgets;
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal codes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in MS applications and SAP.
