Position Summary

The Director, Procurement Operations will manage the Shared Services and Supplier Enablement teams responsible for the PO creation process, Buyer activities and associated process optimization along with vendor setup and maintenance, financial risk assessments, and diversity. Additionally this role is a key transformation role and will be responsible for developing and leading the company's procurement efforts related to program development/management/and training in areas such as SRM, CM, Policy/Procedure and general procurement L&D in best practices and talent development.

• Design, develop, and implement dashboards to track team performance against goals
• Develop and maintain procurement processes, policies, procedures, tools and templates to ensure compliance, best practices and sourcing excellence for all procurement processes
• Improve programs (i.e. supplier management, supplier diversity etc.) within the department to continuously improve performance and value to the organization
• Partners with business users and leadership to identify opportunities to improve procurement processes
• Conducts benchmarking and communicates understanding of world class practices, as well as action plans on how to transition the department to a world class operating state
• Develop process and tools to share best practices across the organization
• Able to assist others with managing internal customer issues and expectations
• Develop and execute annual sourcing plans for assigned categories
• Drive annual productivity improvements in each category of spend by developing and ensuring implementation of ideas to optimize total cost of ownership for spend categories.


• Bachelor's degree in purchasing, engineering, finance or business administration, MBA preferred

• 10-15 years' experience in Procurement
• Proven track record leading business process re-engineering activities to reduce end to end non-value activities and Total Cost Ownership Experience with lean or six sigma methodologies
