The Inventory Management Process Steward is responsible for the design, deployment, adopting, monitoring and governance of Inventory processes across the entire Supply Chain Organization, including Markets, Tolling Centers, External Manufacturing and Site Supply Chain for Finished Products, Drug Products, Active Ingredients and Drug Substances. Responsible for ensuring process consistency, adherence and sustainability and derived knowledge and learning management.
Ensure integration of Inventory Management Processes with existent company business processes such as Integrated Supply Planning, S&OP, Market Supply Planning, Business Continuity Management, Budget and Projections.

Role Responsibilities
• Partner with Inventory Management Process Owner in the development of detailed process designs including flows, roles and responsibilities, governance, and performance metrics. Areas of improvements identified: Budget and Projection for inventories, Inventory classification, Safety Stock Definition for DP, API, DS, and identify other areas of improvements to be included in the Process Excellence Book of Work.
• Lead implementation of inventory management processes from initiation to closure. Execute change management activities to ensure adoption and sustainability, including stakeholder management, communications, procedures/instructions development and training delivery.
• Responsible for documenting existing business processes using Principle Based Procedures, Playbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training material for the process under her/his responsibility.
• Work with internal stakeholders and leverage external network to identify best practices and sustainable inventory management process. Stay informed about developments of the industry standards business process and new inventory management tools.
• Collaborate with other Process Excellence team members to develop processes that guarantee synergy, alignment and integration between Inventory Management and Integrated Supply Planning, propose appropriate communication channels and monitor communication effectiveness.
• Facilitate Inventory Community of Practice, drive process standardization and collect feedback for improvement.
• Serve as the business process subject matter expert (SME) for driving and supporting system enablement.
• Represent Inventory Management processes as subject matter expert on enterprise and business unit projects. Support the Inventory Optimization Project.
• Monitor process performance and adherence, and partner with Inventory Process Owner to ensure addressing of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assess the impact of organizational decisions on the process environment

Professional Experience and Qualifications
• Undergraduate B.S. Degree or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering. M.B.A. with focus in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Lean six sigma certification (Black or Green belt) preferred.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.

Experience/Knowledge Desired:
• 5 - 7+ years of diverse Supply Chain Experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in working internationally in a fast paced, reputable global Biotech / Pharmaceutical or Consumer company organized in a matrix structure preferably at production site and headquarters level
• 2+ years of experience designing and improving business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade others to accomplish challenging goals & objectives.
• Experience of effectively working in a culturally diverse workplace through international projects or global teams.
• Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem solving skills required
• Demonstrated business acumen in communicating and collaborating at various levels in an organization required. Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting information to senior management
• A proven self-starter able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, cross-functional team based environment.
• An ability to cultivate and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with both team members and colleagues across the corporate enterprise.
• Prior evidence working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience utilizing SAP BI, SAP ECC and advanced planning applications such as Kinaxis Rapid Response preferred.
• Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements
