Position

  • The individual will be responsible for all aspects of clinical trial materials including packaging, labeling, distribution and inventory management to ensure uninterrupted supply
  • Coordinate packaging and labeling activities with CROs for all clinical protocols
  • Determine clinical trial supply requirements from protocol designs, monitor inventory and create efficient distribution strategies for global clinical programs
  • Develop and test specifications for IRT/IWRS drug management modules
  • Develop blinding and randomization strategies with Clinical Operations
  • Create label text and booklets for multiple countries/regions
  • Coordinate material transfers to international CMO’s managing exportation, VAT recovery and customs brokers
  • Manage logistics for procurement and control inventories of globally sourced starting materials, drug substance, products and components
  • Source and direct commercial operations for global packaging, distribution and reconciliation

Qualifications

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in Clinical Supply Chain Management and/or Manufacturing functions in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline
  • Detailed understanding of the pharmaceutical business, especially clinical development and manufacturing
  • Strong team management skills and experience
  • Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
