Current investigations include fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP), neurodegeneration, atherosclerosis, pulmonary hypertension, heart failure, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), and immuno-oncology, among many others. Projects are always changing as new ideas and opportunities present themselves.

- Collaborate with directors, research scientists and associates to review project portfolios, evaluate potential applications, and design appropriate MRI strategies or studies with appropriate quantitative endpoints
- Serve as primary person responsible for experiment execution, including animal handling, MR operation, and data analysis, in conjunction with supervision of Imaging, Research, or CRO personnel as appropriate
- Review data and results with collaborators, providing expert interpretation and analyses, designing and supervising follow-up experiments as necessary
- Stay abreast of novel technologies and methods and integrate new technology as appropriate for our applications
- Collaborate with other senior imaging scientists to collectively address application needs, review internal technology capabilities, design evaluation projects, and develop novel solutions to address shortcomings
