The Non-Employee Management Office (“NEMO”) is a centralized, insourced service team which is charged with the strategy and management of the Regeneron Global Contingent Workforce. There are several technology tools which enable NEMO to track, report, and manage non-employee data for the company, including an in-house application known as the Data Governance Tool (DGT) and the Beeline Vendor Management System (VMS). The NEMO Data Analyst is primarily responsible for cleansing, validation, and standard reporting of non-employee data in the DGT against established process and SLAs.

The Data Governance Tool (DGT) was recently developed to begin identifying and reporting on non-employee data across Regeneron. This is a first-generation tool fed by 5 source systems (Oracle, 3 Badge Systems, and Active Directory), and will be the pinnacle of non-employee data governance until the Beeline application is fully deployed and subsequently adopted across the enterprise. The percentage of time spent in data cleansing and source system remediation will range from 70-80% for the first 3-6 months, and will gradually shift to 30-50% as change is accepted and processes are enhanced.

Essential Job Functions:

Data Analysis and Management:
•Facilitate all aspects of a monthly (or more frequent) reporting process in the DGT in accordance with prescribed methodologies and activity timeline. Strictly adheres to deadlines and escalates any upstream bottlenecks which may impact the monthly delivery process. Associated activities include:
•Ensure the timely receipt of master data extracts which drive the monthly reporting workflow
•Trigger the data extraction process and escalate any technology issues to the dedicated support team
•Validate the content of the master data extracts and works with source system owners to remedy any deficiencies
•Audit the data set for missing information, and work with various parties to remedy each impacted record
•Partner with Program Manager for guidance on communication with external parties
•Communicate with Suppliers, Managers, and Non-employees as appropriate to collect information
•Escalate outstanding critical data to Program Manager for assistance
•Create 500-600 new non-employee records and process 200-300 data change requests on a monthly basis
•Identify abnormalities in the data and conduct root-cause analysis and remediation
•Proactively identify process improvements for the monthly reporting and partner with Program Manager to execute
•Inform source system owners of impactful record changes (cost center, name change, overall activity status, etc.)
•Compare Beeline Worker Extract with DGT to identify non-compliant on-boarding activity and provide a summary of activity to Program Manager for remediation and education steps with the business users
•Maintain a monthly dashboard to track the number of non-employee transactions, types of changes, and number of non-compliant onboarding actions by business area and location. Partners with Program Manager to create trend reports on program adoption and track improvements in the quality of data flowing from upstream source systems

NEMO Implementation Support:
•Partner with NEMO project team to prepare non-employee rosters and validate roster data with Suppliers
•Supply NEMO project team with clean baseline non-employee data for initial data loads into Beeline
•Attend NEMO project meetings as requested and supports master data cleanup activity (Suppliers, Managers, etc.)

•Receive, qualify, and respond to requests for data extracts and reporting from the DGT. Partner with Program Manager to validate user access rights before granting permission or sharing data to business end-users
•Create and modify Qlik Sense dashboards which correspond to the most common end-user data requests
•Support Program Manager and Account Director with requests for data for presentations and executive updates
•Participates as requested on larger enterprise reporting initiatives, representing NEMO team and data


•Bachelor's degree required; in business administration, human resources or related field
• 5+ years professional work experience
• 3+ years in a data management position, preferably in an HR function
•Advanced MS Excel for data reconciliation (v-lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas)
• MS Access is a plus
•Superior oral and written communication skills (clear, concise, informative, adaptable)
•Able to learn new systems quickly and understand a broad Technology Ecosystem
•Highly organized “process master”, able to execute with precision under tight timelines
•Superior attention to detail. Able to work with a large volume of data in order to identify anomalies, trends, gaps, etc.
•Leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills
•Must possess critical thinking and problem solving skills
