Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, IT Business Partner Consumer Health Field Sales and Consumer Engagement, are to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Consumer US Field Sales and Consumer Engagement business partners while communicating IT scope of services and identify opportunities and develop initiatives that enable business innovation;
  • Proactively drive the definition of IT project(s) scope, business case, identification of required resources in collaboration with business partners, and identification of critical attributes needed in resources for the project;
  • Proactively monitor business implications, compliance, issues, risks and customers satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Maintain 'ownership' and ensure all IT projects related to the stakeholder functions are completed in a meaningful way;
  • Represent Consumer US Field Sales and Consumer Engagement business interests during global change initiatives;
  • Bring value generating ideas that create competitive advantage to Consumer US, based on an understanding of the external technology market;
  • Contribute to the IT project portfolio in alignment with the business goals and objectives;
  • Overcome the complexity of aligning US activities with the global IT strategy and help to inform the IT strategy using business partner perspectives;
  • Be responsible for working collaboratively with all IT groups to ensure a one-team approach;
  • Work independently and effectively in a global matrix organization model and develop consensus with all levels of management/senior management within a multi-functional team environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience;
  • At least 12 years of overall IT/business experience, with at least three years managing projects / programs;
  • Detailed knowledge of account management and project management concepts, best practices and related polices;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization model and interact effectively and develop consensus with all levels of management/senior management within a multi-functional team environment;
  • Highly developed communication (oral and written), conflict management and effective influencing skills are all important, as relationships must be developed and maintained with senior and executive management;
  • Innovative, persistent and committed to successful completion of assignments on-time with complete accuracy;
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in OTC\CPG IT.
