The Weinberger Lab is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate with a strong interest in developing new biomedical platform to culture human viruses. The candidate will support an active hands-on hardware engineering program through prototype design, building the integrated and automated fluidic system and troubleshooting the system. A successful candidate is expected to design and perform experiments, interpret results and provide project updates.
- BS degree in biomedical, virology, engineering, physical chemistry or related discipline, PhD preferred.
- 6 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive cell culture, molecular biology and mouse experience required.
- Extensive experience with herpes virus.
- Outstanding communication skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team is essential.
