Unlike many other organizations, we view the drug discovery process as one that requires equal parts of technology and art, science and elegance, not as a commodity that can be outsourced.  For this reason, we have assembled an internal team of uniquely qualified individuals with extraordinary knowledge, skills and drive.  Our Discovery Biology department is one of the most critical parts of our research engine. We are looking to greatly expand the size of this department in 2018, with immediate openings for a highly talented RA level candidate with experience in protein expression, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology.

The RA will play a key role in the Biology department. She/he will contribute to the production of recombinant proteins deployed in multiple drug discovery projects.

The ideal candidate would hold a BA/BS in biochemistry/cell biology or relevant biological sciences. Experience in molecular biology and protein expression (bacterial and mammalian cell expression platforms) as well as purification methods (affinity chromatography, ion exchange; familiar with AKTA and HPLC instruments) would be desirable. Experience in analytical techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western blots, ELISA, and Flow Cytometry) would be a plus. We also favor candidates with excellent communication skills both verbally and in form of written protocols and reports.
