JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Under the general supervision of the Senior Manager of Accounting, support Accounts Payable functions and assist the finance department with tasks such as:

• Review and process invoices in AX Dynamics ERP system
• Compile check runs - matching checks and invoices, mailing checks to vendors
• Review and process expense reports in Concur
• Assist with filing Form 1099s
• Support SOX compliance and external audits
• Communicate and follow up with vendors and company business partners
• Other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned, such as preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree ideally in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, highly desired
• 2+ years experience in Accounting or similar field required
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in processing invoices using an ERP system highly desired, AX Dynamics a plus
• Superior and accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to apply written and verbal instructions into daily work and to correctly interpret and adhere to policy and procedure
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work, to work under pressure and with interruptions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Visual requirements: Able to see and read PC screens and read fine print
• Moderate Carrying and Lifting: Raising objects 15-40 pounds
• Repetitive motions: Approximately 4-6 hours keyboard work a day
