Medical bridges clinical development with clinical practice and gains broader knowledge of the healthcare industry.This role is a member of the Immuno-Oncology Medical Team, accountable for ensuring effective planning, development and implementation of medical strategy for the lifecycle of the product. The individual will work closely with multiple matrix teams across US Medical Oncology and throughout BMS.
Critical Responsibilities Include:
  • Is a member of the US Medical Team and partners with Headquarter Medical Teams as well as US Commercial to develop strategic medical plans for the life cycle of the product.
  • Works closely with Oncology US Medical Leads and Scientists to drive excellence in medical strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Coordination with Marketing and Field Medical to communicate results from clinical trials, treatment guidelines, and other related clinical data Interaction with thought leaders and professional associations.
  • Maintains working knowledge of the treatment landscape, including competitors' plans with ability to integrate into the overall Medical Plan for the product/disease.

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) with clinical and/or industry experience.
  • Therapeutic Area (Oncology) scientific & clinical knowledge.
  • Experience working with National and Regional physician Thought Leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to evaluate scientific data and medical literature, and the ability to extrapolate to medical, marketing, or sales programs.
  • Healthcare landscape knowledge and insight.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and cooperative in a complex matrix environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams, including clinical, marketing, sales, medical science.
