Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join the Bispecific Antibodies Group. The position will provide molecular biology support for early stage development of bispecific antibodies and novel therapeutic molecules

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for construct design and optimization as well as protein production and characterization in mammalian cell systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and protein engineering. Expertise in mammalian cell culture, molecular cloning, and protein expression analysis is required. Experience in protein purification is also required. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and can effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.

Essential Functions required for the job:
• Design and generation of protein expression constructs
• Protein production and purification
• Protein expression analysis
• Data analysis, interpretation, and presentation at internal and external meetings
• Maintenance of accurate and complete laboratory records
• Collaborate within the Bispecifics group and with other functional groups at Regeneron

  • Ph.D and 0-4 years experience
  • Expertise in molecular cloning techniques.
  • Expertise in sterile culture techniques for mammalian cell lines.

  • Experience in mammalian cell transfection, lentiviral transduction, Western blotting, and small-scale protein purification.
  • Proficiency in software for data analysis (e.g., DNA sequence alignment, vector construction, MacVector, Sequencher) and data reporting/presentation (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multi-task and perform work with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot and interpret data independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate productively with different functional groups.
  • Strong organizational and timely record-keeping skills.
