Position Summary

Summary:

Regeneron is seeking a highly motivated and innovative scientist to work in development of novel oncolytic virus vectors. The incumbent will lead design, generation, in vitro and in vivo testing of oncolytic vectors, utilize and further enhance existing proprietary technologies.

Duties:

Design, generate, validate and test novel oncolytic virus vectors in mouse tumor models.

Participate in advancement of candidates into clinical development.

Present findings internally and externally.

Collaborate closely with colleagues within Infectious Diseases, Oncology and Angiogenesis, Viral Vector Technologies and across the organization.

Supervise Research Associates, as assigned.

Requirements:

Ph.D. + A solid background in virology (including viral genome analysis and manipulation), cell biology, tumor biology/immunology with interest in oncolytic virus therapy.

Understanding of viral interactions with the immune system.

Previous experience in vectorology, immunotherapy or oncolytic virus-therapy, working with animal models of human cancers and immunological assays are highly desirable.

Demonstrated productivity in collaborative environments.
