Summary:
The Senior Manager in Global Development's Training department is responsible for ensuring delivery of all training collateral requested by clients across the Clinical and Regulatory areas. Working with Training Business Partners, they will serve in a project management role by interpreting stakeholders' educational needs into training assets that are engaging, memorable, and compliant with policies and procedures. In this capacity, they serve as ICH/GCP training experts and will personally develop and deliver eLearning and other delivery formats (e.g., instructor-led). In addition, they will oversee and approve content development from instructional designers, ensuring compliance with our LMS technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the business needs, priorities, and challenges of Global Development by working with key stakeholders in the design and delivery of effective learning assets for its members.
• Work with groups such as Process and Procedures to develop and deliver training solutions that align with controlled document releases.
• Thoroughly understand compliance regulations and how they affect retention of training materials and records in order to propose effective solutions in support of Global Development staff training.
• Provide oversight and project leadership for instructional design professionals and other vendors in the development and implementation of learning assets. Occasionally develop training using in-house resources (tools, SMEs, etc.).
• Participate in forums with HR and other company training colleagues to align and deliver on common objectives regarding learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to enable compliance with regulatory training requirements.
• Work with the LMS (Learning Management System) administration function for Global Development to ensure training solutions are compatible with LMS parameters and are configured for efficient delivery and tracking.
• May participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects to ensure learner's needs are ultimately met with appropriate training aligned with project outcomes.
• Remain current with best practices in regulatory training, adult learning principles and styles, and technology enabled training solutions.

Requirements:

• BS/BA Degree with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in the design, development, and delivery of training, specifically in a research or health care environment, is required.
• Strong experience developing or leading the development of training in a regulated environment, ideally clinical trial research, is required.
• Proven ability to track deliverables through excellent organizational skills of project planning and managing supportive activities.
• Extensive knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Excellent knowledge of ICH/GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and geographically diverse environment.
• Excellent problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Exemplary vendor management and collaborative skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy of work
