Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Regional Sales Consultant Cardiopulmonary, are to:

  • Provide coverage for the entire Region, with an estimated 60% required travel throughout the region or at least three (3) full days in the field visiting customers and/or attending conferences or symposiums;
  • Develop new business by focusing on lower tiered pulmonary and cardiovascular customers;
  • Provide support to dinner programs;
  • Uncover new customer cardiology/pulmonary targets that have potential to treat CTEPH;
  • Conduct unique speaker program to focus on CTEPH awareness or to target community based cardiology practices. Set up at least one speaker program per territory each quarter;
  • Cover regional conferences, displays and symposiums to develop new leads for the territory representatives;
  • Work closely with our CSS to identify high potential customers to follow up with which could lead to new business within the Northeast Region. These new leads will be funneled to each territory rep to increase overall regional performance;
  • Attend National Symposiums;
  • Liaison with Sales Training to deliver new hire classes in and/or assist Sales Training to roll out new materials to the region along with our regional trainers;
  • Timely expense reports, IT tools, stay current on product information;
  • Must follow company and pharmaceutical compliance code.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required;
  • Orphan disease or specialty cardiovascular experience;
  • Minimum seven years of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical selling experience or five years of PAH clinical experience as a nurse or physician assist;
  • Excellent consultative selling skills;
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record;
  • Ability to travel 40% required throughout the region or at least three full days in the field visiting customers and/or attending conferences or symposiums. This may include overnight travel and/or weekend travel;
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills;
  • Strong collaboration skills.
