Responsible for leading and managing the general accounting team. Responsible for the monthly close process, external and internal audit, accounting policies, SOX compliance, ERP system, and stock administration.

• Manage the general accounting function, including performance of the month end/year end close process, preparation, review, and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage and develop staff; midyear and annual reviews, training.
• Work with CMOs related to inventory tracking and ensure inventory cost is accurate on a monthly basis.
• Support the requirements of the annual audit and quarterly reviews through preparation of audit schedules and other support for external and internal auditors.
• Act as liaison for the external and internal auditors.
• Assist with the preparation of the SEC filings, including 10-Q/10-K, by preparing and reviewing supporting schedules and footnote disclosures and reviewing the drafts of the filings. Prepares the calculation of the earnings per share.
• Assist in the compilation of information and preparation of schedules requested for the corporate income tax returns and tax provision calculations.
• Ensure the integrity of the ERP system, including maintaining new account, department, project/product codes, closing the monthly sub-ledgers.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and ensuring ongoing compliance with accounting policies and procedures and SOX internal control documentation.
• Process improvements
• Manage stock administration, including all equity records, such as stock option and award grants, exercises, and cancellations, and processing ESPP and RSU releases in Equity Edge On-line. Prepare stock based compensation for ESPP.


• Act as backup for Assistant Controller, including reviewing semi-monthly payroll
• Provide Ad Hoc support to Finance and other departments as need arise, including special projects, system improvements or ad-hoc financial analyses as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational finance and accounting
• CPA credential preferred

• Excellent communications skills required
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel, ERP familiarity, Stock Option Administration software, knowledge of payroll systems
