The Graphics Designer will play a key role within Regulatory Labeling Operations, providing proactive support to the various product teams across the organization helping to ensure the creation of Labeling Artwork for regulatory submission and production for Marketed products (Packaging Component Design) compliant with local guidance's (US, EU, and ROW as applicable) with high quality in a timely and efficient manner. This person may support Branding design and Regulatory Affairs special projects (logos, presentation templates, slide decks) working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the business are consistently met. Additionally this individual will be tasked collaborating not only with internal teams but also with external vendors and agencies and with development partners as appropriate.

• Independently responsible for managing the creation and development of Labeling Artwork (Packaging Component Design) for regulatory submission and production for Marketed products compliant with local guidance's (US, EU, and ROW as applicable).
• Understanding and apply the regulatory requirements for packaging components as applicable.
• Maintain accurate and complete files of all creative files, images and company/internal components ensuring that all are accessible by other members of the department at any and all times.
• Assist with the development of content for regulatory labeling, educational and marketing material (e.g., Graphs, figures, images, Product Branding).
• Work in partnership with the Regulatory Labeling team to ensure that labeling components are in line with the appropriate branding and local regulatory guidance's.
• Work closely with the project team to understand requirements and create cost efficient graphic designs across platforms and ensure consistent design integrity.
• Liaise with initiating team members on project timelines and assist with project planning from concept to approval.
• Develop interpretive ideas and design artwork and provides guidance on graphic technology as appropriate.
• Help to ensure that the print budget is maximized advising on paper and production specs as needed.
• Work to fully understand the other functions within Regulatory proactively seeking to partner on new initiatives in order to further the effectiveness of the department.
• Support Regulatory Affairs with graphic design for special projects (logos, presentation templates, slide decks).


College degree preferred. Regulatory experience can offset education requirements.
• Graphic Designer Specialist (1-3 years)/Associate Manager Graphic Designer (4-6 years) of Biotech or Pharma industry experience, 1 or more of which are in regulatory affairs labeling and/or regulatory packaging design.
•In-depth knowledge of the industry practice for packagingdevelopment. Familiar with policies and operating procedures in regulatory and/or manufacturing.
•Ability to manage labeling issues, develop plans of action, and oversee completion of labeling project.
•Familiarity with FDA, EMEA, and international labeling regulations, ICH guidelines, and CIOMS core labeling guidelines.
•Ability to assimilate clinical and scientific information, and present it in a concise manner.
•Ability to work independently and use judgment to make decisions and escalate problems appropriately. Proactively share information with peers and generate discussion to resolve complex issues.
•Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize work independently.
•Attention to detail.

Required Skills:
Expertise in design, layout, illustration, retouching, color proofing, and print production
Well-developed understanding of design principles
Proven understanding of healthcare packagingdevelopment principles
Working knowledge of mobile and web-based platforms
Well-developed organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

Required Special Equipment and/or Programs:
Expertise in Corel Draw, AutoCAD, and packaging design
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop)
In-depth understanding of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
