We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to join our Research Pharmacokinetics team within the Therapeutic Proteins organization. He/she is expected to provide PK study and sample analysis assistance in timeline driven PK experiments. He/she will be responsible for conducting in vivo testing and ex vivo sample analysis using immunoassay methods, including assay development/optimization if required. In addition, this associate is expected to perform data analysis and report experimental results in both verbal and written communications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The candidate will perform the following:
1. ImmunoAssay (i.e. ELISA, GyroLab xPlore) analysis of rodent serological samples, including development/optimization of assays
2. Subcutaneous and intravenous dosing and blood sampling of mice
3. Data analysis of samples through GraphPad Prism and Excel
4. Accurate recording of experiments in an electronic lab notebook
5. Compilation of data into comprehensive PowerPoint presentations
6. Inform upper manager and the team of project status and experimental results in both verbal and written communications

This position requires a minimum of a BS degree in biology or a related field and have a minimum of 8-12 years of laboratory experience. Additional requirements include:
  • Experience with microtiter plate based assays, such as ELISA, is required, including assay optimization.
  • Experience with analysis using a GyroLab xPlore analysis system is a plus.
  • Basic rodent handling techniques is required.
  • Good communication skills and excellent organization skills with the ability to pay attention to details are required.
  • General computer skills such as Excel and PowerPoint are required and experience with GraphPad Prism is a plus.
  • Must be able to work productively in a fast-paced collaborative team environment, with the ability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Flexibility necessary
  • Strong time management and organizational skills are necessary
  • Good communication skills necessary
  • The qualified candidate must be able to work effectively either as a team player or as an independent individual.

Level will be commensurate with experience

This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment.
