The candidate will be involved in research projects aiming at developing therapeutics to treat metabolic diseases.

The candidate will perform a wide range of molecular biology experiments; such as plasmid cloning, cell culture, DNA transfection, establishment of stable cell lines, RNA extraction, RT-PCR, western bloting, luciferase assays, and other cell based assays. Needs to be highly organized, flexible and motivated.

Successful candidates will have strong background molecular biology, minimum 3 years of experience working in a lab, and have experience in:
• Plasmid cloning
• DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR
• SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, ELISA
• Mammalian cell culture, transfection, reporter gene assay.
Proficient with commonly used software applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, GraphPad, Macvector)
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular or cell biology.
Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple experiments.
