As the Manager/Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness, you will partner with leaders and teams to drive organizational effectiveness efforts throughout AbbVie. These efforts will increase performance in our quickly evolving business.

Critical responsibilities include consulting on, designing and delivering solutions in the areas of change management, organization design, strategy, culture, leadership development and team effectiveness. Through this work, this role will contribute to increasing the organizational effectiveness capability at AbbVie.

Core Responsibilities

  • Consults with leaders in HR and across AbbVie to identify gaps in leader and team performance related to organizational effectiveness; and subsequently recommends, designs and delivers solutions that address those gaps and produce performance outcomes
  • Advises and influences HR partners and business leaders on areas of focus, prioritizing needs and best-fit solutions
  • Facilitates live and virtual solutions, spanning discussions to workshops for in line and matrix teams
  • Recommends strategies that fit the culture and integrate across the organization
  • Coaches leaders on organizational effectiveness topics, such as readiness for and leading through change, culture, organization design efforts, and team leadership
  • Develop strategy to building change capability in the organization, including strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance to organizational decisions and changes

Education & Experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree, required; Master's Degree, a plus
  • Background/experience in:
    • Internal consulting
    • Influencing and collaborating globally and with all levels of leaders
    • Instructional design and facilitation
    • Organizational effectiveness
  • A proven, strong performer with leadership experience in multiple aspects of the business
  • Record of driving business performance in times of change
  • Knows what it takes for leaders to develop others and create high performing teams
