Summary
The Metabolic and Muscle Disease Group at Regeneron is committed to discovering novel targets and innovative medicines for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, NASH and muscle diseases. We are looking for a Research Associate to support these efforts.

The individual should have experiences in mouse pharmacology experiments, immunoassay development, and cell biology. The successful candidate will be involved in advancing non-alcoholic fatty liver projects. This individual will perform both in vivo and in vitro work related to the projects. Needs to be highly organized, flexible and motivated.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Establish new in vivo, in vitro and ex vivo assays
  • Perform mouse assays/ (tolerance tests)
  • Dose compounds by IV, IM, IP, and SC routes and draw blood (orbital, tail, submandibular) in mice
  • Perform ex vivo analysis (ELISA, western blotting, immunohistochemistry)
  • Primary cell and cell line experiments, including transfection and transduction
  • Write protocols and study reports

Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of a BS or MS degree and 3 or more years of experience with:
  • Mouse pharmacology experiments
  • Immunoassays
  • Cell biology
  • Molecular biology
Level will be commensurate with experience.
