Position Summary

Summary: Project Specialist within the Drug Product Technology department to support operational management, project reporting and streamlining/optimization. Works also as point of contact within the department and within Regeneron for timely communication of data. Facilitates project milestone achievement, process improvements and investigations. The individual should be able to work and effectively communicate with the engineering staff and senior management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Help facilitate planning of tasks, resource (people and equipment), criticality assessment, DP process characterization, process transfers, process improvements and investigations.
• Handle and analyze large amounts of unstructured information and distill into easy-to-understand communication vehicles, schedules and other documents.
• Act as key point of contact for information transfer to/from the Drug Product Technology department.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS project) are required.
• Attention to detail while maintaining a high-level view to the processes and activities.
• Prior experience in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prior experience in building models for project reporting, optimization, scenario analysis, resource planning, project planning, criticality analysis.
• Ability to maintain integrity and honesty at all times.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate with transparency.

Education and Experience:
• BA/BS in in science, engineering or business.
• 2 + years' work experience in a Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry, other relevant technical industries may be considered (e.g. operations management and operational efficiency, or in strategy consulting with experience with operational strategy projects).
• Working knowledge of drug product manufacturing preferred.
• Prior Project Management experience is preferred.
• A qualification in Project Management or equivalent preferred.
