Position Summary

This person will be working in Information Systems & Technologies in Tarrytown, NY. The student will join the Commercial Information Technologies (Comm IT) team, providing project and business analysis support. Comm IT projects at Regeneron span multiple business areas, so the successful student will be exposed to a client community ranging from Sales, to Marketing, to Commercial Operations and more. Business Systems Analysts on Regeneron's Comm IT team work closely with Project Managers and technical teams, and contribute to all aspects of the Project Management Lifecycle. This role will focus on business requirements development and management, business process definition, and testing. As such, a student on the Comm IT team will have a fundamental understanding of Software Project Management and Systems Development Lifecycle methods.

Sample Responsibilities:
• Participates in interviewing clients to understand the business needs, issues and data challenges of client's organization
• Assists in gathering client information to create business requirements and business process documents
• Will work closely with IT management and the clients to identify and specify business solutions and processes in diverse development platforms, software, technologies and tools
• Reviews the functionality of existing business systems to ensure they continue to satisfy users' varying needs
• Supports business process improvement activities
• Assists in related duties as assigned or requested

• Must be an undergraduate student
• Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems
• Must have strong problem solving skills. Must have strong attention to detail, process definition, and improvement.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

General Intern Program Information:
• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD or PharmD
• Summer Program is full-time (~40 hrs/wk) for at least 10 weeks and is paid
• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• You will work with a specific manager on a project(s)
• Enjoy weekly 1 hour Intern Program events: learn about other areas of the company from VPs and other employees, soft skills workshops, networking, volunteering, and more!
• Present to your team on your summer project
