Summary
This role covers the the territories of Dallas, TX, Arkansas, and Memphis, TN

The Thought Leader Liaison, Respiratory is a field-based, non-sales role, focused on enhancing and improving interactions with key external Respiratory thought leaders in the community. The primary areas of focus include thought leader engagement, advocacy development, capturing market insights, liaising with marketing and coordinating thought leader engagements with identified senior management. All TLL interactions are always within label, and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines. A TLL will work cross-functionally with home-office based colleagues in Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, and Market Access. The attributes that are critical for success include collaboration, communication, planning, and the ability to execute tactical initiatives and provide timely feedback. TLLs will report to the Associate Director Thought Leader Liaison (AD TLL) within the Marketing organization.

Responsibilities
The TLL job responsibilities are focused primarily on four key areas.
Thought Leader Engagement
• Aligning with cross-functional teams, the TLL orchestrates resources as they relate to key Thought leaders, as assigned by the ADTLL
• Conducting substantive business discussions related to on-label product information, disease state, and general corporate overviews
• Compliantly collaborating and communicating cross-functionally with respect to assigned Thought Leaders in order to ensure strategic and tactical cohesiveness
• Acting as a coordinated, single point of contact to resolve issues when directed, by the ADTLL and/or Headquarters
• Executing a customer-centric needs based approach with respect to key thought leaders

Orchestrates Thought Leader Executive Encounters and Engagement
• Plan and execute key thought leader engagements and senior executive encounters at local, regional and nationals conferences, POAs, in field engagements, and other venues as directed, in a complaint manner
• Act as a liaison between thought leaders and home office cross-functional teams

Advocate Development
• Assisting with on-label key thought leader development, including speakers, with approved decks and materials
• Becoming the single point of contact for certain speaker logistic/scheduling activities and working cross functionally to ensure appropriate communication

Marketing
• Obtaining feedback from thought leaders on Respiratory Franchise and brand-related marketing strategies/materials
• Providing feedback to commercial leadership on various topics as requested
• Providing advisory board participant recommendations, and attending advisory boards where needed, appropriate and approved
• Provide speaker recommendations to marketing when requested
• Follow and be knowledgeable of all relevant laws, regulations and corporate policies governing all activities
• Facilitate speaker bureau management, including contracting when requested
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or other advanced education/certification a plus.
• Specialty pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of five years of work experience in one or more of the following: field sales, product marketing, or medical / clinical experience including experience in the Dermatology market or a similar subcutaneous, self-injectable biologic specialty market. Launch experience preferred.
• Ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success
• Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
• Demonstrated leadership skills (past leadership experience a plus but not required)
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
• Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary
• Current understanding of pharmaceutical promotional rules and regulations
• Valid driver's license
• Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory, or within a reasonable distance as determined by the Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison and Human Resources
• ~ 60% - 80% travel likely; could be less based on geography
• Work within label, and regulatory and legal compliance guidelines
• Must be based in, or located in close proximity to, AR; Dallas, TX; Memphis, TN (relocation will not be provided)
• Preferred residence in Dallas
