Summary:
Senior Manager/ Associate Director, DUPIXENT Consumer Marketing, Asthma – Main area of responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive Consumer Marketing plan for inadequately controlled persistent asthma that will ultimately drive demand for DUPIXENT in a very aggressive market. Namely: agency management, budget management, patient education materials development and implementation, campaign plan development and implementation coordination with market research, consumer message and creative development and execution.

Responsibilties:
Responsibilities will focus on the asthma indication U.S. and Global for DUPIXENT and will include:
• Contributing to and implementing a 1-3 year consumer strategy and tactical plan for the pre-launch, launch and post-launch periods.
• Develop and implement a plan for optimal channel distribution for communication with patients with inadequately controlled persistent asthma.
• Build business cases for patient-oriented programs that contribute to sustainable brand growth.
• Drive digital and social media strategies and create programs that reach beyond typical banner and paid search for accelerated brand awareness.
• Create and refine innovative patient education materials and execute plans for dissemination of appropriate patient materials via physicians' offices, email, direct mail, electronic delivery and other media.
• Working closely with our co-commercialization partner to ensure alignment of Consumer strategy and tactics across the alliance
Working closely with colleagues responsible for the atopic dermatitis indication to insure consistency of branding and complimentary tactics.

This person will report into the Director, Consumer Marketing, DUPIXENT. The focus for this role will be more weighted in the U.S. market, but the role will adequately support Global consumer initiatives.
Requirements:
-Demonstrated competency in managing a consumer marketing effort both internally & externally for a product launch.
- Ability to develop & implement optimal patient support program.
- Ability to create and implement patient RM stream.
- Demonstrated competency in media planning to ensure proper mix and optimization (media includes digital, social, mobile and General awareness print.).
- Demonstrated competency in agency management and budget management.
- Ability to develop a plan for and implement SEO/SEM so that we increase the disease and the brand awareness and relevance to the right audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to implement health literacy principles to impact overall consumer communications platform.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members and across departments to insure consistency and collaboration in strategy development and implementation of programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with research and development team members in transition of professional relationships to commercial point person in pre-launch and launch situations.
-Ability to partner and lead cross functional and cross alliance meetings and projects.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated Consumer marketing competencies in the pharmaceutical/biotech areas.
Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to work with an Alliance partner is required.
Prior launch experience .
Prior experience with self-injectable biologics strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal & presentation skills required.
Ability to deal with all levels of the organization.
Must be willing to travel 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed).

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
Demonstrated experience in marketing of biologics preferred.
The ideal Senior Manager/ Associate Director candidate must have a minimum 8-10+ years of progressive marketing experience including at least 3 years in the Consumer space in pharmaceutical marketing.
Pharmaceutical Sales and/or Sales Management a plus.
Advocacy experience a plus.
