Position Summary

This person will be working in Medical Analytics in Tarrytown, NY. The student will benefit from exposure to real-world applied problems in the pharmaceutical industry within the Medical Affairs setting, and contribute their knowledge and talent by providing state-of-the-art analytical methodology in order to facilitate further understanding and characterization of Regeneron products and promote continued innovations in Medical Affairs Medical Analytics. Primarily, the student will focus on creating statistical graphics that present complex ideas with clarity, precision, and efficiency to facilitate decision making and innovate display for publication and internal team discussion. The student will utilize these innovative graphics tools and procedures to interpret results from statistical outputs using advanced graphics or other intuitive approaches for data at the subject and population level. Secondarily, the student will be engaged in developing new analytical methods based on statistical questions from Regeneron clinical studies and real world evidence study databases, by evaluating new methods proposed in the literature, novel applications of existing methodology, or sensitivity analyses to determine the robustness of proposed methods.

• Must be an PhD student
• Must be pursuing a degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or Epidemiology
• Must have strong statistical methodologies, tools, and practices. Must be proficient with information display via SAS graphics.
• Must be able to analyze statistical questions presented, generate creative solutions, use sound judgment and be innovative.
• An understanding of CDISC data standards, SDTM & ADAM data structure is a plus
• Must have an in-depth understanding of intrinsic/cohesive link between layers of information and dynamic graphic display for various types of endpoints
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with mentor and colleagues within the Regeneron Medical Affairs organization.

Intern Program Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a PhD
• Prefer demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports or the community
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

• A free shuttle is offered from the North White Plains or Tarrytown train stations to the Tarrytown campus
