Position Summary

Known for its scientific and operational excellence, Regeneron is a leading science-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, invents, develops, manufactures, and commercializes medicines for the treatment of serious medical conditions. Regeneron commercializes medicines for eye diseases, high LDL-cholesterol, atopic dermatitis and a rare inflammatory condition and has product candidates in development in other areas of high unmet medical need, including rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, pain, cancer and infectious diseases.

Summary:

The successful candidate will participate in the design and validation of the next generation of immunotherapeutics. He/she will support the expansion of our co-stimulatory bi-specific antibody portfolio. In particular, he/she will work in testing in vivo effector arm bi-specific antibodies paired with various tumor targets of interest, using syngeneic and/or xenogeneic tumor models. A key point will be the generation of data to understand the biological advantage and the mechanism of action of these antibodies as monotherapy or in combination with other immunotherapeutics in comparison to existing therapeutic approaches. He/she will be working at a cross-functional level with different therapeutic focus areas and clinical program managers to identify the best potential indication(s) to support clinical development.

Duties:

- Synthetic and analytical thinking using expertise/knowledge of T cell biology and cancer immunotherapy
- Use of immunological techniques such as multicolor flow cytometry (including flow Jo data analysis, tSNE, etc), in vitro tissue cell culture and bioassay development using primary mouse and human cells and engineered cell lines
- Animal manipulation, use of preclinical syngeneic and xenogeneic tumor models (tumor implantation, tumor growth measurement, etc)
- Test combination therapies using checkpoint inhibitors, costimulatory agonists and bi-specific antibodies.
- Use basic molecular biology techniques (ATACseq and/or ChIP-Seq is a plus).
- General computer (Excel file, statistics, histograms), power point and data presentation and report research findings skills are highly recommended
- Managing research associate(s) and work in a highly collaborative environment
- Provide regular oral and written progress reports
PhD plus 3 to 5 years (Post-doc and/or industry experience)

- Expertise in T cell biology and strong knowledge of the immune-Oncology field and the latest clinical developments to participate in cross functional discussions
- Synthetic and analytical thinking for data interpretation and cross-functional studies
- Solid expertise in using combination therapies with checkpoint inhibitors, costimulatory agonists and bi-specific antibodies in syngeneic tumor models
- Solid knowledge of immunological techniques such as multicolor flow cytometry (including flow Jo data analysis, tSNE, etc), in vitro tissue cell culture and bioassay development using primary mouse and human cells and engineered cell lines
