Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine business requirements

  • Develop and maintain appropriate Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) documents as needed (Validation Plans, Configuration Specifications, User Manuals, Operational Manuals, SOPs, processes, change management communications, training materials, etc.)

  • Facilitate / Lead User Acceptance testing
    • Develop testing strategy, test case development, and associated test documentation

    • Review and quality check executed UAT scripts, reviewing defects and facilitating prompt resolution to keep UAT timelines on track

    • Provide test management oversight including scheduling / resource identification

    • Update scripts based on defects and change requests from the onsite leads

  • Develop and ensure alignment of technical and functional team project plans

  • Manage workstream / initiative risks, issues, actions, and decisions

  • Lead release management activities including change impact analysis and ticket creation, follow up and closeout

  • Drive consistent, standardized system usage, reports and compliance with data entry timing and quality

  • Support / Lead Monthly Capability Support meetings


Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, business or technical field preferred with at least 8 years of experience in a clinical operations role with experience in clinical operations data entry / data reporting and/or experience in system development, configuration, analysis and testing

Skills / Knowledge Required

  • 8 years of Clinical Operations system experience (CTMS, EDC, IVRS, etc.)

  • University/college degree is required; preferably in health, computer science, business, engineering, or information technology

  • Familiarity with Medidata Clinical Cloud and/or experience with enterprise data platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Hadoop, etc.)  and/or visualization/dashboard tools (Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView, etc.) preferred

  • Possesses high level initiative and ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues proactively with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word,PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
