Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Key focus on business transformation through innovation, data driven insights, establishing Partnership and technologies

  • Primary responsibly will be in helping to manage business analysis, project management aspects, emerging research, discovery and development of opportunities to innovate alongside the Senior Director, GCRDO

  • Help create a culture of innovation within Global Clinical Research & Development Operations (GCRDO) where the status quo is challenged and continuous improvement via data driven insights and technology becomes ingrained in the day to day workings of the organization

  • Drive innovation via the use of data driven insights to business functions across GCRDO and beyond

  • Work closely with functional SMEs to identify and prioritize business problems/ use cases for incremental/transformative/disruptive innovation

  • Work closely with the Innovation lab to successfully deliver innovative solutions against identified use cases via use of technologies like ML and AI

  • Work with the functional teams to identify partnerships and products that help our cross-functional teams improve outcomes.

  • Create a view of capabilities, road map activities, investments and overlap/gaps across current external partnerships

  • Build out consistent internal briefings and communications to support ongoing innovation initiatives for the entire GCRDO organization.

  • Create a Knowledge Management Portal to collect and inform the organization of all ongoing innovation solutions

  • Establishes, evaluates and communicates performance indicators of activities/engagements with franchises and other functions to achieve near-term targets as agreed to with key stakeholders.

  • Act as a change agent internally on matters pertaining to the utilization of data, implementation of the analytics strategy and tactics. Ensure a broad understanding of the value of analytics and insights to the product value demonstration

  • Establishes solution rollout plan, adoption and change management activities with relevant functions

  • Other responsibilities as deemed necessary

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 7 years of applicable industry experience strongly preferred. Successful track record of timely delivery of innovative business deliverables. Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MA, MS, MBA, etc)

  • Strong track record and experience in Pharmaceutical R&D Operations OR strong track record and experience in technology R&D interfacing healthcare

  • Advanced communication, interpersonal and management skills; possessing the ability to credibly, knowledgeably and effectively represent and communicate initiatives to internal and external stakeholders and GCRDO partners. 

  • Understanding of technological trends and passion to develop innovative solutions that support and enhance GCRDO competitive edge.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multi-cultural, collaborative and self-directed environment.

  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Knowledge in both the in a quantitative and qualitative discipline

  • Management and Leadership with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration skills

  • Possesses high level initiative, ability to multi-task, is passionate about asking and solution oriented

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels

  • Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare experience preferred but not necessary
