The company's strategy is to continue to identify, license and develop new products-that offer enhanced therapeutic options to patient populations that may be underserved by existing therapies. As part of the transformation strategy, Depomed will be relocating its headquarters out of California. Information about location will be shared during the interview process. JOB SUMMARY The Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting Depomed's marketing communications team. The primary role will be coordinating and managing Depomed's Promotional Review Team (PRT) process. In this role you will coordinate the daily management of all advertising, promotional, sales, and training materials along with managing the final production process and fulfillment. Also involved in all aspects of marketing communications including tactical planning and serve as the liaison between product/brand teams and agency/vendors on assigned brands. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS PRT Promotional Review Team (PRT)
  • Manage PRT process including initiating, circulating, and tracking PRT submissions
  • Ensure that all projects are well planned, delivered on time, and within scope
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Train internal and external stakeholders on the PRT process and guidelines
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate PRT comments into review materials
  • Generate bi-weekly PRT status reports
  • Project management support for Promotional Review Team (PRT)
  • Scheduling PRT reviews and supporting PRT processes
  • Work with the commercial team to prioritize agenda items to meet business objectives
  • Timely distribution of all review materials as well as approved materials files for regulatory approval and Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) submissions
  • Manage all PRT meetings
  • Track all recommended changes and revisions to materials and act as PRT point of contact for all vendor partners
  • Maintain all records as it relates to PRT submissions and approvals and track expiry activities for all approved items
  • Ensure all materials submitted to PRT processes meet quality standards for review
  • Suggest process improvements as appropriate Promotional Material Fulfillment
  • Maintain appropriate inventory, manage destruction and removal of any outdated or pulled materials to maintain only compliant materials
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders pending upcoming materials
  • Responsible for proofing of final materials for production with agency and vendor and release to the field
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and track invoices to ensure team is within budget
  • Maintain printed sample library for reference and generate monthly materials status reports
  • Manage relationships with print vendors to ensure timely production within allocated budget
  • Two plus years' experience in advertising, promotional and labeling process in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree (general business or life science disciplines) or equivalent experience in related field required.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office; Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and Veeva Vault is a plus.
  • Understanding of the promotional material creation process in Pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.
  • Understanding and knowledge of FDA regulations and guidance as they pertain to paper and electronic submissions is highly preferred.
