Manager, Business Analytics
Description THE COMPANY STRATEGY: Depomed has a clear THREE PILLAR strategy for growth: MAINTAIN a strong/profitable NUCYNTA franchise through a commercialization agreement with Collegium, GROW the Neurology and Pain Business and BUILD a new Specialty Business through a recent Cosyntropin transaction. The company's strategy is to continue to identify, license and develop new products-that offer enhanced therapeutic options to patient populations that may be underserved by existing therapies. As part of the transformation strategy, Depomed will be relocating its headquarters out of California. Information about location will be shared during the interview process. JOB SUMMARY This position's primary responsibilities are be to support field sales territory alignment optimization, Call Plan design and SFE KPI design/measurement. This role works very closely with marketing, sales leadership, and managed care in order to align resource allocation and targeting to Depomed's strategic needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for territory alignment design and sales force sizing for all of Depomed's field sales teams
Evaluate territory level workloads indexes as they pertain to product portfolio valuation, segmentation and make appropriate recommendations to optimize commercial footprint
Manage Call Plan design for the sales team including cyclical refreshes based on analytics, pull-through opportunities and field intelligence
Partner with Marketing brand managers so support brand planning and measure initiatives
Design and facilitate analytics and targeting training workshops for field sales forces
Design Call Plan adherence KPIs to measure targeting and field force effectiveness
Work closely with field leadership to analyze revenue and activity results in order to optimize district & territory performance
Maintain the distribution of standard reports & dashboards on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis
Ensure that all deliverables pass appropriate quality control procedures to ensure deliverable accuracy
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or 5+ years of related industry headquarters experience strongly preferred.
Strong track record of performance within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry

Independent worker, self-learner, and can quickly assimilate new information
Requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to analyze and QC data from multiple sources and communicate findings in a clear and organized manner
Strong ability to interface with executive management and field based employees
High level resourcefulness and problem solving skills under pressure are critical to this role
Prefer candidates that have a strong working knowledge or aptitude to quickly learn relevant software systems (e.g., Javelin Territory Designer or equivalent such as Terralign, Excel, MS Word, SQL, PowerPoint, MS Access, etc.) DEPOMED COMPETENCIES INCLUDE
