AbbVie's Experiential Intern Program
As an AbbVie Experiential Intern, you'll participate in a paid, ten to twelve-week summer program that is focused on providing students with robust projects throughout the summer. As an intern, you will be located at our corporate headquarters in north suburban Chicago, with housing and shuttle services for eligible students. Department Overview - RQS Operations: Business Services RQS Operations' mission is to create and drive process and system efficiencies for increased productivity and agility. The Business Services group within RQS Ops serves as a trusted partner, collaborating with RQS stakeholders to implement innovative solutions for the business so they can focus on the business of RQS. Assignment Details The RQS Operations Business Services Collaboration Services intern will provide support to the Collaboration Services lead on projects related to RQS collaborative technology solutions. The team operates mainly within the SharePoint environment at AbbVie. However also included will be the use of MS Office, Cisco Jabber and WebEx and applying that knowledge to work process in RQS in a way that drives efficiencies. Projects and responsibilities may include but not be limited to site content and permissions management, site building, requirements gathering, creating documents and resources, and providing overall technical and team support. Qualifications: Basic:
  • Completed at least one year of college education before beginning internship
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship
  • BA/BS Undergraduate Student
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.0/4.0
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated).
Preferred:
  • Experience with SharePoint (2010/13 or higher, 2007 acceptable)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Products
