Description
AbbVie's Supply Chain IT organization is helping to transform the business by connecting information from packaging lines to patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of that change. This position will be responsible for the ownership and execution of key IT projects and initiatives supporting the Supply Planning function, as a member of the Global Supply Chain Systems Center of Excellence.
This position is expected to work with minimal oversight. The role will support a global Planning System responsible for the forecasting of over $28 Billion in annual sales, utilized by over 90 countries and 13 manufacturing plants.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties
Lead complex, global systems projects that support the Supply Planning function
Act as the application and process SME for the global Supply Planning function
Develop Solution Design, and Functional Requirements documentation
Lead Conference Room Pilot Sessions, and Integrated Testing cycles for projects
Develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for a global user base
Deliver ongoing functional application consulting support
Coach and mentor junior analysts, to create a high-performing Supply Planning Systems Center of Excellence
Manage and direct the activities of contractors, consultants, and other third parties, while maintaining accountability for project and application maintenance deliverables
Work with cross-functional teams , and other IT and business stake holders, to ensure the successful planning and execution of systems projects
Provide input into the development of the strategic roadmap for Planning Systems
Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements
Follow ITIL based processes to ensure cost effective, continuous operation of the Supply Chain Planning systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 8 years of work experience including business analysis, solution architecture, and project management
Ability to travel globally
Required Skills
Strong understanding of the end-to-end Demand and Supply Planning processes
Expert level knowledge of JDA Fulfillment v.8.0+(DRP, Deployment, and CPP) and/or Enterprise Supply Planning(ESP), in a consultant, or senior business analyst role, in a manufacturing environment
Involvement in at least 4 full-cycle JDA implementations, and/or upgrades in a lead role
Ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops, to elicit user requirements
Working knowledge of ITIL processes
Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Track record of driving project deliverables to successful conclusion
Advanced knowledge of relational databases and structures
Advanced data analysis skills, including the use of query tools like TOAD and SQL
Experience working with large ERP systems like SAP, JDE, or equivalent
Preferred Skills
Prior consulting experience highly preferred
Experience working with a global user base
Working knowledge of JDA Demand, Collaborate, Monitor, and S&OP modules
SAP ECC 6.0 experience highly preferred
