Technical expert in pharmaceutical sciences and data analytics and management that will coordinate and be responsible for the integration, visualization, and analysis of collaboration research data. Utilize existing data transfer and integration software, as well as seek to improve existing methods and processes in the area of data storage, harmonization, and visual analytics. Work with project, business, collaborator, and data integration teams to ensure efficient data integration with high integrity. Develop Spotfire data packages/dashboards and alternative data files to share internally and externally. Demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of techniques and methods for data and health sciences, including data pipelining, analytics, warehousing, and visualization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and maintain efficient data transfer and integration workflows for research collaboration data.
  • Independently develop data pipelining processes to transfer files and aggregate custom data.
  • Participate in project and collaboration-related meetings to understand and anticipate data requirements.
  • Monitor and quality control data integration to maintain high data integrity.
  • Assist internal and external scientists with data loading to appropriate locations.
  • Independently design and develop scientific data analyses to answer scientific or business questions through the integration, visualization, and analysis of data. Demonstrate proficiency across a range of technologies related to the storage, transfer, integration, visualization, and analysis of large and complex data sets.
  • Learn, understand and master new methods and technologies particularly in the area of visual analytics, and act as a resource or mentor for others.
    Demonstrate knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare business, and utilize this knowledge in the rapid advancement of agile, impactful, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Effectively organize and present project objectives and progress.
  • Contribute to technical publications and presentations.
  • Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, and data security.


  • Proficiency using data preparation and visualization software; such as, Spotfire, Pipeline Pilot or equivalent data pipelining software, Excel,
    Experience with database creation such as Oracle/SQL, and scripting language(s).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and typically 5+ years of experience, Master's Degree or equivalent education and 2+ years of experience. Background in life sciences or work experience in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
  • Position may be filled at a lower graded depending on experience.
  • Ability to multitask and work within timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, understand and master new technologies.
