• Responsible for molecular cloning (restriction/ligation, Gibson Assembly, etc.), E. coli transformations, PCR, microbial culturing, and DNA/plasmid purification

• Utilize automated liquid robotics for single cell cloning and amplification

• Generate highly pure expression plasmids for downstream processes (e.g. sequencing, mammalian cell transfection, etc)

• Support high-throughput single-cell cloning and amplification

• Work seamlessly in an energetic, fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment encompassing molecular biology, protein expression, and microfluidics


• Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in standard molecular biology and microbiology techniques (e.g. RT-PCR and product purification, cloning and plasmid construction, plasmid purification, gel electrophoresis, etc.); 2-3 years of experience

• Intense drive to make progress on impactful research programs

• Strong demonstrated aseptic technique

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience:

• Single-cell DNA amplification and cloning

• Experience with operating automated liquid handling robotics

• Experience with high-throughput assays
