We are seeking a hands-on highly talented and motivated candidate with strong knowledge in organic chemistry reactions and mechanisms to join our small molecule discovery team working on high value disease targets.
You will be responsible for route selection, multi-step synthesis, purification and analytical characterization of our new chemical entities. You will also be able to participate in the design and setup of our chemistry labs. We are looking for someone with demonstrated hands-on proficiency in heterocyclic, organometallic, and scale up chemistry. Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LCMS, NMR) for purification and structural determination of small molecules is required. You will also keep up to date knowledge of novel chemistry literature and technology methodologies. You should have a strong knowledge of safe laboratory procedures, be well-versed in best laboratory practices and possess good scientific problem-solving ability.
As a member of our drug discovery team, you will be a part of a highly collaborative and fast-paced, multi-disciplinary research environment, working closely with our team of biologists and medicinal chemists. Duties will include design, development, and performing of experiments. Develop experimental procedures based on the published literature, adapt based on results and changing scientific priorities, clearly communicate experimental plans and results verbally and in writing.

-Ph.D. or M.S. in Organic Chemistry, with several years of industry experience in small molecule organic chemistry.
