ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Health Charities, the largest federation of America's leading health charities, in its continued growth and expansion, has named Tamala P. Scott, as Director of Campaign Development for the nationwide organization.
Ms. Scott joins Community Health Charities after a highly successful career in development and workplace giving. Most recently, for the last five years, she was the Assistant Director of Individual and Planned Giving and Interim Director of Workplace Giving for the United Negro College Fund, Inc. (UNCF), with headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia. At UNCF, Ms. Scott, in addition to building unrestricted gifts, coordinated the completion of all local and national Combined Federal Campaigns, State, Local, Municipal Government, School and United Way campaigns throughout the 26 area offices. Prior to this assignment, she was a financial administrator for the Rendon Group, Department of Defense, where she performed and monitored financial administration for government contracts. Other positions she has held are Presidential Y2K Community Liaison with The White House; Respite Program Coordinator at United Cerebral Palsy of Washington and Northern Virginia; and Family Driven Support Services Coordinator at the John F. Kennedy Community M.H./M.R. Center in Philadelphia.
