"Our interest in joining TriNetX is threefold," said Grace A. McComsey, MD, FIDSA, Vice President of Research and Associate Chief Scientific Officer at UH Health System (UHHS). "Our first goal is to be able to refine our study feasibility process by allowing our site to query our EMR and determine if our site has enough patients to make a study feasible for us. Second is to open up avenues for our investigators to collaborate with other academic centers. And third, but not least, is to increase the opportunities for us to acquire industry or multicentered studies."

TriNetX is the global health research network enabling healthcare organizations, biopharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations (CROs) to collaborate, enhance trial design, improve site selection and planning, and bring new therapies to market faster. Each member of TriNetX shares in the consolidated value of its global, federated health research network that connects clinical researchers in real-time to the patient populations which they are attempting to study.

To date, TriNetX has been used to analyze over 13,000 protocols, has presented over 2,500 clinical trial opportunities to its healthcare members and used by numerous researchers to support NIH grant submissions.

UH Cleveland Medical Center is home to world-class clinical and research centers, including cancer, pediatrics, women's health, orthopedics, spine, radiology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, neuroscience, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, organ transplantation, and human genetics. UH Cleveland Medical Center includes UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, UH MacDonald's Women's Hospital, and UH Seidman Cancer Center.

"We are honored that UH Cleveland Medical Center has joined TriNetX," said Steve Lethbridge, Senior Vice President of Global Data Networks at TriNetX. "By utilizing our platform for data sharing, UH will be able to collaborate more effectively across its own research departments and with pharma and academic collaborators, globally, to bring more clinical trial opportunities to its patients."
