St. Baldrick's Foundation Adds Distinguished Executives from American Express and J.P. Morgan to its Board of Directors

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The St. Baldrick's Foundation, the largest charitable funder of childhood cancer research grants, is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its board of directors: Jyoti Rai, Sr. Vice President of Global Talent, Leadership and Learning at American Express and Thomas Selquist, Managing Director at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

Rai brings more than two decades of expertise in human capital strategy and management to the Foundation. Currently, she manages a team of 135 HR professionals around the world and is an integral member of the Global Human Resources leadership team.

In her previous role as VP and Chief of Staff for Human Resources, Rai partnered with the Chief Human Resources Officer on a variety of strategic initiatives, including CEO succession, C-suite performance alignment and talent management, and managed global HR talent strategy, employee development and communications for the department's more than 900 employees globally. Prior to this, Rai was the Head of HR for American Express India where she led the India business organization transformation and built a pipeline of women leaders for the market.

Thomas Selquist brings more than 20 years of experience working in capital markets and investments, advising families on financial planning and wealth management solutions. He started his career in finance at Goldman Sachs as an Institutional Sales Trader in 1996. While there, he also served in the Markets Coverage Group helping UHNW private clients and family offices implement their investment strategies.
