Spectrum Chemicals and Laboratory Products Appoints A New CEO

New Brunswick, NJ, January 26, 2009 -- Spectrum Chemicals & Laboratory Products is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Hayem, 42 as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, starting on February 1st, 2009.

Mr. Hayem holds an Electrical Engineering degree from ENSEIR-Bordeaux, France. He also has various other degrees, among them a Management course at MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston, MA. Mr. Hayem’s outstanding career has seen him in key management roles, leading organizations in the United States, as well as Europe. He speaks four languages: English, Spanish, French and German.

Marc Hayem will split his time between the company’s New Jersey and California locations. He is married with 2 children.
