The Patient Choice Awards recognize specialty pharmacies with the highest patient satisfaction ratings across the United States.

Based on results from the ZHI 2017 Patient Satisfaction Survey, finalists from 2017 will be recognized and winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony on April 30 at the 2018 Asembia Conference. The conference will be hosted at the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, from April 29 to May 2. Finalists are selected based on overall patient satisfaction scores in one of two categories: PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management)/Payer Specialty Pharmacy or non-PBM/Payer Specialty Pharmacy.

ZHI Patient Satisfaction Survey
The ZHI Patient Satisfaction Survey was launched in 2015 and is representative of specialty pharmacies across the United States made up of independent, retailer, integrated delivery networks/hospital-based, PBM and payer-owned specialty pharmacies.
The survey data are used to create a syndicated benchmarking report that can be used to assess patient satisfaction and customer loyalty across a variety of therapeutic categories. Finalists will be showcased in the June 2018 issue of Specialty Pharmacy Times®.
Accrediting agencies are increasingly requiring specialty pharmacies survey their patients with minimal requirements.
