Praxis Expands To Add West Coast Branch

Brentwood, Tenn. - January 22, 2008-- Praxis, a full service patient recruitment company, has appointed Richard Chin as Director of Business Development. In his new position, Richard will manage business development activities for Praxis' West coast clients by creating customized patient recruitment and retention solutions designed to enroll studies on time and on budget.

Richard has more than 20 years experience in the life sciences field including R&D, clinical trials, marketing and business development.

Richard worked with both sponsors and sites at small start-ups and multi-national companies in formulating clinical trial strategies for Phase I and II studies throughout the U.S. and Canada. He most recently worked with Datafarm Inc., where he established and managed strategic partnerships in the biopharmaceutical industry with clients such as Amgen, Genentech, Johnson & Johnson and Biogen Idec. Richard holds a MBA in Marketing from California State University and a BA in Biology from the University of California.
