PAREXEL International Named A FlexJobs Top 100 Company To Watch For Telecommuting Jobs In 2016

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PAREXEL International Corporation (NASDAQ: PRXL), a leading global biopharmaceutical services organization, today announced that it has been named to the FlexJobs Top 100 Companies to Watch for Telecommuting Jobs in 2016 for the third consecutive year. The list recognizes companies with a telecommuting-friendly component to some of their jobs, such as the ability to telecommute entirely or part of the time.

“PAREXEL is a forward-thinking company that understands that offering telecommuting options is a smart business strategy”

PAREXEL offers approximately 20 percent of its global employees flexible work options, including telecommuting, flexible schedules, and home-based employment. In North America, approximately 40 percent of PAREXEL’s employees take advantage of the Company’s telecommuting and flexible work opportunities. These employees represent a diverse cross section of positions, including clinical research, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs.

“Giving employees telecommuting opportunities and flexible work options has opened the door for us to find the best and the brightest talent in the industry. Recruiting the best talent helps to ensure that we can deliver for our clients,” said Tom McGoldrick, Vice President of Talent Acquisition, PAREXEL. “PAREXEL’s varied work options also provide access to a skilled labor force without geographic restrictions, which is important for meeting organizational growth and helping our clients simplify their journey towards bringing new treatments to the patients who need them around the world.”

PAREXEL has a dedicated “Decentralized Employees Support Community” on the Company Intranet. The community includes recommendations for collaboration tools to help employees connect with each other and advice on setting up a home office. PAREXEL also offers several training programs for home-based employees.

“PAREXEL is a forward-thinking company that understands that offering telecommuting options is a smart business strategy," said Sara Sutton Fell, founder and CEO of FlexJobs. “Telecommuting can benefit companies in so many ways, including cost savings, increased productivity and retention, better candidate pools, enriched company culture, and improved employee health.”
