OrthoAccel Technologies, Inc. Release: Smile & Share Contest Invites AcceleDent Users to Show Their Creativity and Win an iPad®
Published: Dec 10, 2012
HOUSTON, Dec.7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- OrthoAccel® Technologies, makers of AcceleDent, are launching the Smile & Share online video contest, announced Chief Innovation Officer and Vice President of Marketing Kathleen Malaspina.
The contest invites patients who use AcceleDent to create and submit a video 20 seconds or less in duration, showing how they might occupy their time while wearing the AcceleDent appliance. Entries will be posted on YouTube and voted on by viewers. The prize for the winning entry is an Apple® iPad®.
"AcceleDent is intended to safely accelerate tooth movement, as a complement to existing orthodontics. Patients use AcceleDent by wearing it for 20 minutes each day. Since AcceleDent is held gently in the mouth, patients are free to go about their activities, such as surfing the web, texting...whatever. It was the 'whatever' that intrigued us, as we're certain there are a lot of AcceleDent users out there who use their time very creatively. We're challenging them to show the world in 20 seconds or less how they spend their 20 minutes with AcceleDent," Malaspina explained.
OrthoAccel has produced and distributed a short form video to orthodontic practices throughout the United States that offer AcceleDent treatment. The video introduces the contest and encourages viewers to enter.
To submit a video, get "Smile & Share" contest details, or share with friends, go to http://acceledent.com/smile-and-share. The "Smile & Share" contest opens Dec. 6, and runs through Feb. 6 with the winner to be announced on Feb. 15.
