(Baltimore, MD—June 3, 2013) -- David Opie, Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Research & Development, will address prefilled syringe and medical device audiences at industry conferences in June and July. A new advance in sterilization, nitrogen dioxide (NO2) offers many benefits over traditional methods. NO2 sterilization is room temperature, leaves no cytotoxic residuals, operates without a vacuum, provides surface sterilization and maintains material and drug integrity.
