Mott Corporation Receives ISO 9001:2008 Recertification

FARMINGTON, CT [May 2012] – Mott Corporation just finished a recertification audit with Lloyd’s Registrar Quality Assurance and successfully passed the audit to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard.

Mott Corporation strives to build on its continuous improvement and Quality Management System foundations through ongoing Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, and Synchronous Manufacturing initiatives. While these three pillars have become a regular part of the company’s culture, we are working to further enhance them with advanced training, Kaizen Events, and project activities in support of the broader goals of the company.

Robert Hillard, (Mott Director, Quality Programs) notes, “This successful recertification is a significant milestone, which validates the commitment of our leadership as well as the attitude and abilities of each and every Mott employee. This achievement is the result of a total team effort; the entire organization displayed confidence, profound knowledge and a sincere desire to exceed expectations. There were no findings, and several Mott processes were noted as “Best Practices” by the audit team.”
