Manhattan Scientifics, Inc. Announces Issuance Of Additional Patent Covering Detection And Imaging Of Cancer Cells

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Manhattan Scientifics, Inc. (OTCQB:MHTX) announced today that its Senior Scientific, LLC unit, a nanobiotechnology company for the early detection and localization of cancer and other human diseases, has been granted an additional United States Patent for its MRX™ cancer detection technology. U.S. Patent No. US 9,095,270 B2 entitled "Detection, measurement, and imaging of cells such as cancer and other biologic substances using targeted nanoparticles and magnetic properties thereof." The patent provides a method as well as an apparatus for detecting and measuring cancer cells, using magnetic nanoparticles.
