He holds a B.A. in biology and economics from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Berdahl specializes in advanced cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and glaucoma surgery at Vance Thompson Vision and is a recognized leader for the advancement of glaucoma treatment. He received his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and trained at the Mayo Clinic, Duke University and Minnesota Eye Consultants.
