Grifols Announces the Opening of Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation's Newest Plasma Donor Center in Bowling Green, Ohio

 

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio /PRNewswire/ -- Grifols is pleased to announce the opening of its newest Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation plasma donor center located at 1616 East Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio. The 13,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility officially opened its doors for business on September 17th, 2018 and brings the total number of BPC's plasma collection centers to 23.

The total investment amounts to over $1.5 million in renovations of this newly constructed facility and expects to add over 40 jobs to the local economy. Currently, there are employment opportunities available for medical personnel and phlebotomists.

In addition to supporting the local economy through employment, the Biotest Plasma Center is actively recruiting local residents to donate plasma and looking at ways to support the local community. Plasma donors contribute the much needed source material used in the manufacture of plasma-derived medicines and are also compensated for their commitment.
